What is a pulse survey?
A pulse survey is a short employee survey sent out regularly to track employees' engagement, wellbeing and experience of the working environment.
Unlike a traditional employee survey, which is often run once a year, a pulse survey is based on short, recurring questionnaires. Employees answer a small number of questions at regular intervals, for example monthly or every other week. This makes it easier to track progress over time and pick up on changes before they grow into bigger challenges.
Because the surveys are short, they take up less time for both employees and managers. At the same time, the organisation gets a continuous basis for decision-making, making it easier to spot trends, identify risks and take relevant action where it's needed most.
